Another Job Bites the Dust...

It's been four days since my husband got the news he was being downsized out of an IT job. It took us by surprise, in spite of him having survived 3 rounds of layoffs already (I know, head in the sand much), because he had some uniquely billable skills.

Well the whole family is rising to the occasion of major spending cutbacks. Which reminds me, at some point I need to rant about the folly of counting on consumer spending to lift our economy, because even if DH were to get a job tomorrow, our leaky-sieve attitude towards money is a thing of the past....
